Wondering About God?
If you want to know the truth about God - really know the truth - you're a "seeker." That's a great thing to be, because according to Jesus, seekers find what they're looking for. God loves you and He wants to be your friend - forever! He wants you to learn about Him and believe in Him.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John3:16) KJV
Since God created us for a relationship with Him and to have eternal life, why are many not enjoying this experience?
The problem is sin..our sin...that separates us from God. God did not make us robots to mindlessly love and obey Him. Instead, He gave us a will and freedom to choose. But, we often choose to disobey God and go our own selfish ways. This side of us is called sin, and it creates a huge wall between us and a heavenly Father who loves us.
We are made right with God by putting our faith in Jesus Christ. That happens to all who believe. Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God's glory.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) KJV
The facts are simple. We have sinned and our sin separates us from God.
Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem of separation from God. He died on the cross and rose from the grave to pay for our sin.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) KJV
God has already shown the only way...and we must make the choice.
You can make Jesus your friend forever when you believe in who He is and what He has done. Trust in Him alone to save you.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Roman 10:9,10) KJV
Pray to God right now to receive His free gift of salvation and begin a new life in Him. Then tell your family and friends so they can pray and celebrate with you.
